I set up a Stellar node using the quickstart docker (https://hub.docker.com/r/stellar/quickstart/).

I did the following:

Pull stellar image

sudo docker pull stellar/quickstart

wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/stellar/docker-stellar-core-horizon/master/pubnet/core/etc/stellar-core.cfg
sudo sed -i '1iCATCHUP_COMPLETE=true' stellar-core.cfg
sudo mkdir -p /str/core/etc/
sudo cp stellar-core.cfg /str/core/etc/

Run the docker image

sudo docker run -d -e POSTGRES_PASSWORD=mypass -p "8000:8000" -p "11626:11626" \
   -p "11625:11625" --rm -v "/str:/opt/stellar" \
   --name stellar stellar/quickstart --pubnet

Then I use the following command to query the status:

curl -s "http://localhost:8000"

For hours and hours, I only get history_latest_ledger=0.

Did I do anything wrong? Why does it take so long to receive the first ledger? Also my goal is to get all the history from the first ledge, is it the correct way to do it?

Thank you!
