I have a application where I want to store a SHA256 hash of a document in a blockchain so that it remains immutable. I want it to have a good life, like storing the SHA256 hash as a data in a transaction should not be deleted quickly. It should be there for a long period of time (5-6 years).

I am new to stellar and I have following queries: Is Stellar a good fit for this? Can we easily perform transaction with messages with very low transaction cost?
